Inner Gippsland

What’s not to love about living in Gippsland. In the heart of Gippsland you have the best of both worlds - at most you’re two and a half hours from the centre of Melbourne, two hours to the beach and two hours to Mt Baw Baw and the snow fields. Not to mention the Strzelecki ranges on your doorstep.
Almost seventy per cent of Gippsland is made up of state-owned forests, national parks and reserves and native freehold forests.

Foodies rejoice at the Jindivick Cheese Factory, Brandy Creek winery and regular farmers markets in Rokeby, Lardner and Warragul or travel a little further to the stunning coastline of Phillip Island and Inverloch.

Agriculture and dairy farming are huge employment industries within Inner Gippsland.

Compared to larger regional cities and nearby Melbourne, the median house price is a very affordable $355,000 in Warragul and $296,500 in Trafalgar.
